Judy Vander Maten I have been photographically documenting the tidal reaches of the Columbia River off and on for about fifteen years now. As I travel along its path almost daily, I find that in daylight and darkness, through changing weather and shifting tides, I am continuously being treated with a never-ending barrage of new visions and experiences. It is a journey I find very enjoyable, and I enjoy sharing it with others through photographs.
